The online application may be submitted at any time. The award is based on the following criteria: excellence in scholarship, leadership, sportsmanship, loyalty and citizenship. The student athlete nominated need not be a starter on the team, but must be a senior boy’s basketball player. Coaches are encouraged to nominate a player or players who they feel would qualify for this award. The nomination form must be completed and when submitted, should include letters of recommendation from counselors, teachers, administrators, etc. that the coach feels would help with the selection of the recipient of this award.
