The NCA sponsors several annual awards to recognize those coaches and support personnel that contribute to the success of athletic programs in schools in the state of Nebraska. Many of these awards require a nomination from someone other than the recipients themselves. The Assistant/Junior High Coach-of-the-Year and the Media Award nominees must come through the nomination process. Each of the recipients are recognized at the annual Awards and Recognition Banquet (more info below), are the association’s guests, and receive an engraved plaque symbolic of the award.
