The All-Star selection process begins late in the respective sports season. Every NCA member coach may nominate deserving senior student-athlete(s).
The goal: players selected will represent the best available student-athletes in all parts of the state, as well as representing the sport and themselves in a positive manner. The All-Star selection committee is made up of member coaches from throughout the state.
All-Star Coaches Selections: Nominations are collected from head coaches, respective sports advisory committee members and at the NCA Multi-Sports Clinic. The coach’s records, career stats, and longevity are then taken into consideration. The sports advisory committees and at-large committee members determine the selections.
Funding for the games depends on the support offered by each community having a player selected. Coaches of committed student-athletes are asked to assist in securing a minimum of $250 (non refundable) to participate in the all-star experience. Each student-athlete that secures the participation fee will be provided six complimentary game passes.
The NCA receives support for all games from Nebraska Orthopaedic Center of Lincoln. The NCA would like to thank each school and community in advance for their support of the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star Games.
NOTE: You must be a current NCA member to nominate a player for any All-Star team!
